Gotu Kola (Hydrocotyls or Centella asiatica) is known as fo ti tien in Traditional Chinese Medicine and as brahmi in Ayurveda. It's used to re-vitalize the brain, increasing the attention span and power of concentration.

Gotu Kola is also used to treat certain skin conditions and combat fatigue, while at higher dosages it's a stimulating aphrodisiac for men and women. *

Usage

To make a tea for daily use, take half a tablespoon of powder and dissolve it in hot water.

To make a stronger extract for stimulating and erotic effects, put 30 grams of herb in half a liter of boiling water. Let it boil for at least 2 hours on a low fire, keeping the pot covered. Strain, sweeten to taste and drink a small cup to begin with.
