What is CBD?
The abbreviation CBD stands for cannabidiol. It is a compound found in the cannabis plant. It is considered one of the most important compounds and is extracted from the hemp plant. Unlike THC found in marijuana plants, CBD is not psychoactive. Consuming CBD, therefore, does not alter a person's state of mind.

The abbreviation THC stands for tetrahydrocannabinol. It is the most important compound in the marijuana plant and also belongs to the cannabinoid family. In contrast to CBD, THC has psychoactive properties or provides the well-known "high" effect after it is consumed.
Is CBD legal?
If CBD is extracted from hemp, it contains much less THC. This means that the psychoactive properties that get you "high" are not included. Products containing less than 1% THC have been legal in Switzerland since 2016. In Europe, on the other hand, the permitted level is less than 0.3% THC.
Is CBD the Only Cannabinoid in the Hemp Plant?
CBD is one of numerous cannabinoids found in the hemp plant. The ones we are most familiar with are CBD and THC. But there are others, such as cannabigerol (CBG), cannabinol (CBN). It is believed that around 200 other cannabinoid molecules are likely to be found.
Can you grow CBD at home?

How is CBD oil made?
There are different ways to make CBD oil. In the traditional method, the dried leaves and flowers are soaked in a carrier oil (coconut oil or olive oil), thus diffusing the medicinal substances into the oil. The oil is filtered after weeks and the medicinal active ingredients are trapped.
Can you overdose on CBD?
Even a high dose of CBD is not fatal. So you can't overdose. However, if you take too much, you may experience side effects such as lethargy and drowsiness. In this case, you should not operate machinery. It is not recommended to get behind the wheel in such a condition.
Is CBD Addictive?
CBD cannot be addictive, but it can become a habit. Allowing the body to relax and alleviate pain, the numerous beneficial effects bring a sense of relief that many individuals crave. However, this is not a question of dependence, but merely symptomatic relief.
Can I take CBD oil for pain relief?

When should I use CBD?
You can use CBD at any time of the day. There are no fixed rules here. Many take CBD either in the morning or in the evening so they can reap the benefits throughout the day or get a good night's sleep. It depends on what you want to achieve with the product. It's best if you listen to your body.
Where should I store my CBD products?
CBD products should generally not be stored in rooms where they are exposed to direct sunlight. We recommend that you keep them dry and cool. The most important thing is to protect them from direct sunlight.
Can the color of my CBD tincture vary?
Color may vary a little due to the seasons as no dyes or other additives are used in our products. In nature, there are often slight differences that can be reflected in the coloring. However, this does not affect the quality of the CBD oil. This will of course be checked by us.

What is the difference between hemp seed oil, CBD and hemp extract?
Even though they all come from the same plant, there are stark differences between them. As the name suggests, hemp seed oil is extracted from the seeds of the cannabis plant. It does not contain CBD. The hemp extract is obtained from the trunk, stalks and flowers. This contains a high proportion of CBD, which is why hemp extract and CBD are often used interchangeably.
