Guarana (Paulinnia cupana) is a common ingredient in energy capsules and beverages. Guarana powder contains approximately 4.2% caffeine and several other ingredients, such as guaranine, theobromine and theofilline.

Ingestion:
You can mix guarana powder with any drink. However, it is not very easily soluble in water.
The stimulating effects of guarana are best preserved as a whole nut. Two nuts per cup are recommended. These should be ground with a mortar or coffee grinder. It is prepared like coffee and the material can be used several times to extract all active ingredients.
