What is carbon dioxide?
Like oxygen, carbon dioxide is one of the most important components for us humans when plants grow. All plants need carbon dioxide to grow. If a plant cannot absorb enough carbon dioxide from the air, it will grow more slowly. The CO2Bag is a powerful and easy way to bring more carbon dioxide into your green room without spending too much money.

When and where should it be used?
Get the CO2Bag 2-3 weeks after planting your seeds. Make 6 holes in the top of the bag and hang over your plants. In large green rooms, hang the bag over the aisles. The CO2Bag only produces carbon dioxide at temperatures above 18ºC (64ºF). Store the closed pouch in a dry and cool place below 18ºC (64ºF).

How long does the bag last?
When the CO2Bag comes into contact with oxygen, it starts producing carbon dioxide. However, it may take a few days for production to begin. Depending on the air circulation in the green space, a CO2Bag will produce enough carbon dioxide for an area of 5 m2 (50 ft2) for 1-3 months.

How can the benefit be maximized?
With the extra carbon dioxide, your plants can handle temperatures 3-5ºC (5-9ºF) higher than usual. This also causes your plants to need more water and nutrients. Remember to increase the amount of water, nutrients and light in the room so you can maximize the impact of the CO2Bag.
