Premium Cola 0.33l

WATER

Good water is the basis of premium cola. We use pure spring water and groundwater, both of which of course comply with the drinking water ordinance in force from 2001, and thus with the DIN 2000 standard and the EU drinking water directive.

SUGAR

Premium currently uses the sugar that the bottlers buy. This is mostly obtained from sugar beet.

CARBONIC ACID

CO2 and carbon dioxide are identical, the latter is only called that when water has been added. For the curious, here is the carbon dioxide content: approx. 4 g in the 05 bottle or approx. 2.64 g per 0.33 bottle. Well then cheers.

AMMONSULFITE SUGAR CARE

Is quasi roasted sugar, is called E150d because of the auxiliary substance used and is therefore voluntarily written out by us on the label (Torben's idea) to make the difference clearer. A change in e.g. E150 without d or a completely different alternative would be possible - if we had not emerged from a fan base of the old afri recipe ...

PHOSPHORIC ACID

Is also advertised voluntarily by us and is identical to E338. Despite the martial name, phosphoric acid ester is necessary or vital for the human metabolism.

CAFFEINE

Premium Cola contains the maximum permitted amount of 250 mg / l caffeine in Germany. However, we are not alone in this, so it does not reveal to us why others advertise this "unique selling point". Most of the caffeine in the cola does not come from the cola nut (anymore). Most manufacturers of cola have now switched to the much cheaper caffeine that is used in the production of decaffeinated coffee. This is also the case with premium cola, among other things because the caffeine in the cola nut would be far too little 🙂

NATURAL AROMA

This so-called beverage base makes up about 1/100 of the content of premium cola and at the same time holds the recipe secret. The ingredients do not contain any genetically modified components according to EU regulation EG 1829/2003 and are traceable according to EG 1830/2003. Our raw material manufacturer is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001: 2000, GMP, HACCP and BRC "Higher Level". In addition: All ingredients are guaranteed free of genetic engineering, gluten-free and also vegan, which to our surprise is not a matter of course ... (at least one other cola manufacturer uses animal substances in production, but at least admits them on request).

THE FINE PRINT

Cola contains quite a bit of sugar, phosphoric acid and caffeine. Therefore cola is a luxury food and should be consumed in moderation and not cover the daily drinking water requirement.

INGREDIENTS

In a nutshell: water, sugar, carbonic acid, ammonium sulphite caramel, phosphoric acid, caffeine, natural aroma. A description of the individual ingredients can be found below.

VEGAN

The official association logo costs money, but unfortunately does not provide any control, so we built our own. Because our Cola is vegan from the content to the label adhesive.

Premium Cola was sold to another disappointed consumer in 2001 Cola brand foundedwhose recipe we initially adopted as quasi-tolerated pirates and later with a taste-neutral change (malic to phosphoric acid).
