The genetics come from a cross between the Strawberry Haze and JYM’s Strawberry varieties. JYM’s Gourmet develops several phenotypes with strongly fragrant variations from creamy-berry to mango-sweet, which makes it a suitable variety for selections. Under certain conditions, phenotypes can take on dark autumn colors. The genetics "JYM's Mango Haze" come from this cross.
