High tobacco quality without additives

Of course, like all Natural American Spirit® tobaccos, our Natural American Spirit Organic tobacco in the tin is free of additives. It has the best stuffing properties thanks to its high quality and workmanship.

The slightly milder but just as good as the American Spirit Blue.

The stuffing tobacco meets the strict criteria of the US Department of Agriculture for organic farming. This means that fertilizers and pesticides may no longer be used for 3 years in advance.

A material with the "FSC Mix" seal of approval is used to manufacture the bags. This corresponds to the criteria of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), which works worldwide for the preservation of forests and exemplary forest management.

The cultivation of this exceptional tobacco is more complex than that of other tobaccos, although the areas under cultivation are often much smaller.
It is primarily family businesses that we are able to get enthusiastic about our idea. "We plant sunflowers next to our tobacco," says Richard Ward, a 4th generation tobacco farmer, "which attracts ladybugs, which naturally keep pests away from the tobacco plant".

The gentle cultivation of the tobacco ensures excellent quality, protects the environment and promotes sustainable agriculture. In many companies, the tobacco leaves are still harvested by hand because of the small cultivation areas, since the use of machines is not worthwhile. After harvesting, the coarse leaf veins are removed and the Natural American Spirit Organic tobacco matures for up to 3 years. This develops the aromas for a very special smoking experience.
